Server Side Design Co-Hosts Web Marketing Seminar to Help Businesses Enhance Their Online Presence

Houston, TX, February 7, 2012 – Server Side Design is partnering with Constant Contact and Springboard Social Media to host a seminar titled Enhance Your Online Presence: Fundamentals of SEO + Social Media Marketing Made Simple from 8:30 a.m. until noon, Wednesday, February 29 in the Sam Houston Room at the J.W. Marriot Hotel, 5150 Westheimer in Houston.

The focus of the seminar is to help businesses boost their online presence by gaining a better understanding about how Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising and Social Media Marketing (SMM) work.

“For a business to gain an advantage over their competition in today’s world, it is vital that they understand how to market themselves online,” said Roger Janik, Server Side Design president. “SEO, social media marketing and pay-per-click advertising are not a passing trend. Instead, they are necessary tools for businesses to succeed online. This seminar is geared to assist business owners understand the fundamentals of how they work, so they can reach a higher plateau online and achieve greater success.”

Representatives from Server Side Design will address the fundamentals of Search Engine Marketing, with a special focus on SEO and PPC. The representatives include Janik, Ashleigh Bunn and Johanna Snyder. They will discuss the pros and cons of SEO and PPC, why keyword research is important, how to create landing pages that convert into sales, how to define web market goals, and how to measure SEO and PPC success.

Server Side Design is also teaming up with Shelley Roth of Springboard Social Media for the seminar and she will review Constant Contact’s essential strategies and best practices for using social media marketing tools. She will cover:

  • What social media marketing really is and why use it
  • Introduction to social media channels and how to evaluate what’s right for your business or organization
  • How small businesses are using these low-cost tools to gain visibility, develop relationships and drive sales and response
  • How to create good content for your social media marketing campaigns and time management
  • How to balance social media marketing with email marketing and your other marketing efforts
